Pray and Act for Persecuted Christians on Red Wednesday
On November 19, 2025, Red Wednesday will be marked across Canada and around the world. In Toronto, a Mass will be celebrated at 5:30 p.m. at St. Michael’s Cathedral Basilica by Most Reverend John A. Boissonneau, Auxiliary Bishop of Toronto. Red Wednesday shines a light on the persecution of Christians and calls everyone to defend the human right to religious freedom. Parishes, schools, and communities can participate by praying, wearing red, hosting events, lighting churches and buildings, sharing online, and fundraising to strengthen ACN’s support for those who suffer. Every action, large or small, sends hope. More information: www.acn-canada.org/rw/
